I was really excited to work with Adobe Photoshop again, especially because I would get to learn more tools and tricks that I did not know about the program when I worked with it in high school. The video tutorials that I watched, as well as the article I read really helped me become more familiar with the Adobe Photoshop program.

With the video tutorials, I learned about the Photoshop work space, as well as using the adjustment layers. The first video introduced us to the Adobe Photoshop program. It showed us the basic tools, as well as some hidden tools that are shown under some of the basic tools. It also showed us how to reset the essentials interface, in case whoever was using the program before, you could put it back to the beginning interface. I learned a lot about the program from watching this video. The second video talked a lot about the adjustments panel for photographs. The levels adjustment is change change the tones of the photographs. With this adjustment layer, you can also tell where you will lose detail if you move one of arrows too far in any direction. Besides the levels panel, the video also talked about color balance and vibrance/saturation. I found this video to be helpful because I got more depth about the adjustments panel.

The article that I read before class on March 11, talked about how to change the size of an image. At first glance, this article can seem boring and unimportant, but I found it helpful as a reminder. I also learned more about the resample feature. The resample feature allows you to change the image size or resolution while allowing the total number of pixels to adjust proportionally.
