In the video tutorials I watched about Adobe InDesign, I learned quite a bit about the program, as well as some tricks to make some of the features easier to work with. In the four short videos that I watched, I learned about what Adobe InDesign is, how to create a new document, an overview of the basic tools, and how to place images. With each video, I learned something new that I had not known before.
The first video that I watched was just a basic overview of what Adobe InDesign is, how it is used, and who uses it. Much of InDesign is using text and photos to create many different things, such as posters and brochures. The programs also allows the user to bring in artwork and photos from other Adobe programs. A user can also make interactive documents of whatever it is that they are making in InDesign.
The second video talked about how to create a new document in InDesign. There are many things that a user has to take into account when creating a new document. Some of the features when creating a new document are the intent, orientation, columns and margins, as well as some more. Each feature is used to make sure your document turns about exactly how you want it.
The third video that I watched about Adobe InDesign gave me a quick overview of the many tools of the program. The video talked a lot about the type tool, which includes creating text boxes and filling them with dummy text. It also talked about using the rectangle, or rectangle frame tool add photos inside that specific area. I really found this video helpful, since it gave me more insight about how to run the program.
