In these exercises, we mostly used Adobe InDesign. The only time we used Adobe Illustrator was to create the text on the poster. The first two pictures are a tri-fold brochure that I created. This exercise was helpful, because for the final InDesign project, we have to create a brochure.
From this exercise, obviously, I learned how to create a brochure, as well some other helpful tools that I can use for my final project. Besides creating the brochure, I learned how to add images, as well as how put them in so they look the best. I also learned how to add text boxes in Adobe InDesign.
I learned many more useful skills from this first in class exercise, but these are the main skills.

In this second in class exercise, I learned how to create a poster using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the logo in the bottom right corner of the poster. Everything else was created in Adobe InDesign.
Making the logo, I used some of the skills I learned from the April 1, 2016 in class exercise. I also used my previous knowledge of Illustrator.
For the rest of the poster, I used my new knowledge of text boxes from the in class exercise above.
